REPAIR & RESTORATION OF OLD QUILTS
All levels 3 hrs
Decisions and applied measures involved in the repair of your family heirloom or a garage sale quilt is the focus. Choosing acceptable fabrics, proper procedures, techniques and documentation are emphasized. TQ #14.
STUDENT SUPPLY LIST:
Pencil and paper. Each person may bring ONE quilt for restoration evaluation and classroom study.
Please bring replacement fabric being considered for your quilt for discussion only, IF you already have it. DO NOT PURCHASE FABRIC PRIOR TO CLASS.
SPONSOR SUPPLY LIST:
Two long tables pushed together, side by side, for holding a quilt laying flat. Chairs around the table for students. An extra table for myself. A Kodak carousel projector with an extra bulb and a room that can be darkened for viewing the slides.
