STUDENT SUPPLY LIST:
Pins, ruler, scissors (fabric and paper), your favorite fabric marking pencils, lead pencil and grid template plastic.
FABRIC: Background and all design elements are supplied in a variety of color palates from which to choose. THIS $17 KIT IS COMPLETE EXCEPT FOR BRODERIE PERSE FLORALS, however many students prefer to use additional fabrics with their own color choices and may bring various fat quarter and smaller pieces of fabric for flowers, leaves, vines, fences, etc. At LEAST one medium scale floral for broderie perse (BEST TO USE SEVERAL IN VARIOUS SCALES). Instruction is given for hand appliqué but this project can be produced by any other method such as machine or fusible. If using any method other than hand appliqué please bring additional supplies needed for your particular method. No machine is needed during class, only the preparation for that method.
I will bring thread colors to match the main kit fabric colors but most likely you will need colors to match your additional fabric choices.
*All day class – please bring needle, thimble and thread to match appliqué fabric color choices of your broderie perse fabrics. Fat quarter piece of muslin and scraps to practice basic appliqué stitches.
