CLASSIC HAND BUTTONHOLE APPLIQUE
All levels 6 hrs
Fast and easy hand stitched fusible appliqué florals (or anything else) can be beautiful, soft and refined using today’s techniques and products. We will learn assembly procedures, conquering different and difficult shapes for great results.
STUDENT SUPPLY LIST: Thimble, pins, paper and fabric scissors, small embroidery (sharp to the point) scissors, pencil, template plastic, water-soluble pen and/or your favorite fabric marker. _ yard of lightweight paper-backed fusible web, embroidery floss to match or contrast with your floral colors and a larger eye needle for floss. FABRIC: Please bring a 16 inch square of background fabric of your choice. Fat quarters each for tulips and tulip centers. _ yard for stems and leaves. There also needs to be a small amount of fabric for tulip buds and one center flower (two colors) please go to www.dixiemcbride.com to view photo of this project.
